Randomness and the weekend

FOOTBALL!!!! I'm beyond excited I love football. As of right now we really have NOTHING planned for this weekend. Although let me just say that can change at the drop of a hat. I had just finished typing that when my hubby called me. Well there are a few things planned. Sunday is Grandparent's Day and I plan on taking Grayson over to visit my parents. I want to try and get his footprints on a card for them. We will see that boy rides a bicycle every change he gets so getting the whole foot on paper thing could be a challange. Watch the eff out we are having a little gathering for the first Sunday of football!!! Beer and yummy food!!! I can't wait.(this is what my hubby just called me about!) Being on a very strict grocery budget I'm already thinking of what I can make for said football party. The wheels are a turning because I do NOT want to blow my budget the very first month. Meatball subs anyone? Knock on wood and fingers crossed baby G is still sleeping t...

Let's talk about the 30 Day Shred

Ok so I have done 3 days now, and let me just say I think I'm in love!!!! I try to go to the gym but the reality is right now that is tough with baby G so I wanted something that I could do at home and not take up a huge amount of time. This is the answer (for me anyway). It is 20 minuets. You literally only need light hand weights. I love it!!! I can get up and do it before work which is awesome. Plus I feel it. I mean I was sweating so much. I'm from the old school that says you need to sweat for it to be a good work out. I feel my body changing when I'm doing it. I love the simplicity and the way it is broken down. I will try to fit it in everyday but if I don't I'm not going to beat myself up over it. If I can manage 5 days of working out I will be happy. I have been doing the shred and then doing my 10 minute yoga after just to keep my muscles long and lean. Here is something I have learned since having Grayson. Get it in while you can. I mean if I c...

Things

My sister has left her job at the daycare because she got a better job offer closer to her house and more money. I'm not upset with her at all but I didn't realize how hard it would be for me to drop G off without her there. I cried for the first time ever. Could be my hormones still being legit a mess who knows but I ugly cried in the parking lot of Tim Hortons for what seemed like forever saying to my husband over and over again, " I didn't even know the girl who was taking him out of his carseat, what if they don't burp him, what if he cries and they don't know how to comfort him, oh my gosh I want to stay home with him". Thank God my husband is a saint and just let me wail and then it passed and he was happy when we picked him. What can I say I'm a mess. It's starting to get cooler here and I'm semi excited. I la love fall. The colors, the apples, the fall smell, the cooler weather. But I don't like the shorter days. I have held tru...

Weekend Re-cap

Why do the weekends go so fast???? I mean we had 3 whole days and still it zipped by..... Anyway here is the nitty gritty of our weekend.. Friday- Michael's mom stopped by for dinner and to visit with Grayson. Then we relaxed. It was nice to just cuddle on the couch with my boys. Saturday- Well I woke up to a nice little suprise. Pink eye. Not me but Grayson had pink eye. His left eye was glued shut by green crap. I held a warm wash cloth on it and got it cleaned out as best I could and then called the answering service for the Doctor's office. Thankfully we have the best doctor ever and they got me in. They had that day set aside for physical's only seeing as how school is starting. Well I was in and out in 10 min and the doc confirmed full blown pink eye. Which meant I could not pick up my sweet baby girl Libby. I felt horrible but I just did not want to take the chance that she would get it and then possibly have to miss the first few days of school. So I called and ...

It's here and I already ordered it

Short and sweet the Carter's thanksgiving swag is on-line. AND it is 50% off. I scored a $120.00 worth of threads for G for $53 shipped!!! The whole site if 50% off and the clearance is an extra 25%. Plus I had a 20% off 40 or more so that helped. I love deals and festive clothing and all things baby!!! Here are the Thanksgiving goods I scooped up....... ONE TWO And for Christmas.....I know I know but these things sell out like for real and the price can't be beat! THREE FOUR And just because he NEEDS these ok mommy NEEDS him to have these..... FIVE SIX I'm having fun shopping and I saved over half. Plus Carter's fits him the best and they have a nice $6 flat shipping rate which is awesome.

My newest purchase.......and I'm in love

I bought this because as Grayson grows he is becoming ubearable to carry in his carseat. I mean he is almost 20 pounds plus the carseat easily being 15 on it's own well that makes 35 pounds. To lug that around a grocery store well thats cray cray. Which is why I NEVER took him to the store with me. So I bought this Cart Cover .  I tested it out today and it was a sucess. He loves riding in the cart which I knew he would. Plus it really is a breeze to put on I did it one handed. It holds his toy and he just sat there happy as a clam smiling at everyone who would look his way. The price is so worth it at 24.99 plus if your part of amazon mom free 2 day shipping!! It is that great material that is easy to wipe down with a baby wipe (sidenote: I think I clean everything with baby wipes now!! They are the best kept secret for cleaning your floors I think). Grayson will now be making trips to all stores that have carts from now on!!!
