Friday Favorites- Twin Stuff Edition

Happy Friday!
Linking up with Andrea for some Friday Favorites

I said I was going to write this post a few months ago and time got away from me, plus some things have changed to here are our 4/5 month favorites for the twins.

I know what your thinking- I have two babies and can only carry one. Well I hardly ever adventure out to do things without a helper and so we each wear one baby. Usually my mom, but my cousin comfortably wore Miss Charlotte when we went to a local park/beach one weekend and it worked out beautifully. I like these over a double stroller (see #2) because in large crowded areas or area's where the wheels don't do the best (like apple picking) wearing the babies is just easier, and plus side, they love it!

Yup I sometimes push this giant thing around. We took it to the zoo and it worked out beautifully. It's not cheap but it's worth it. Plus there is a ton of underneath storage. And our carseats work with it so that was nice. Grayson can stand on it and it grows with the babies.

This is my husbands favorite, hands down. We had this chair with Grayson and used it all the time. I mean.all.the.time. It can be a rocker or the bottom bar flips out to make it a stationary chair! So when we found out we were having twins I ordered a second one and we use these all day every day. We feed them in these chairs and put them in these chairs for cat naps, they watch their big brother dance around like a crazy fool and we can transport them from room to room in these chairs! We just plain love these things! Plus a ton of my pictures of them they are sitting in these.

We had this from Grayson. Another thing we use everyday. Listen babies spit up, and slobber and sneeze out gross stuff. This is easily wiped down when all that stuff happens. 9 times out of 10 when you walk in our house this is out on the floor and the kiddos are rolling around on it. So worth the $45.00 in my opinion. Plus once they are done being on the floor like that we can use it for a picnic blanket!

These bowls and these spoons. We feed them cereal 2 times a day and so I ordered some cheap bowls and spoons. I ordered double so that we were not scrambling for them and I knew that Grayson would be using the bowls too and we love them. They wash awesome and they are a great size to be able to mix the cereal up in.

Fisher Price Jumper Roo
I would buy another one of these in a heartbeat but my husband says no and really we don't have the space but seriously the babies love this thing. Grayson loved it too and I knew that once they had the head control we would use it and we do! Dinner time is now a little easier because we don't have to hold the babies we put one in this and one in their chair watching the other one jumping.

Other things that they have out grown that were lifesavers when they were newborns
Rock and Play
And we got the snugga puppy one because it was $10.00 cheaper!!! I love the extra support for the head

love the snuggler covers they are so soft! We used these a ton when they were small because they would cat nap in these on the couch.

So those are our favorites so far!

Happy Friday!

Random and a little life lately

It's been a hot minute since I have posted. Just can't finish a post it seems. I mean I have 6 in my drafts. I just need to finish one.

First let me just say I'm already addicted to This is Us. I mean! I cry every show and then hug my babies a little tighter and tell them to always love each other. Seriously I'm in love. But what is with the twist at the end both weeks in a row? Ugh! Can't wait until next Tuesday.

Grayson is such a sour patch kid lately. He will be so sweet signing to his babies and then the next second a raging bull punching the couch and trying to swing from the light fixture. I guess that is a 3 year old little boy? Who knows I just soak up the sweet moments like yesterday when he walked right up to me grabbed my face kissed me and told me that I was a "Beautiful, sweet princess girl that he will love forefer" I teared up a little not going to lie.

He loves loves loves to feed Marshall his bottle. Every night for a few minutes he sits in this chair and feeds his brother.

The babies are interacting with each other more. And by that I mean they like to chew on each other's hands and kick the other one in the face.

Geez Charlotte your hand tastes yummy

Our house has been plagued by the head cold/cough/teething for the last week and it is brutal. I have started to come down with it so I'm trying my best to fight it off. But let's be real a lack of sleep just wears down your body.

Get off of me Marshall

My sweet Libby is coming to spend the night on Saturday. My mom is taking B and Grayson to her house and Libby is staying with me and we will have some girl time and she will get in all the baby cuddles she wants.

Open house at daycare is tomorrow and Grayson is pumped. We will make a quick stop and then Michael, Grayson and I will be going grocery shopping. My mom and sister are staying home with the babies because open house falls right during our power hour (aka the time they eat get a bath and go to bed)

He loves to hold his Sissy like this

I still sometimes look at Michael and say "Babe we have twin, we have 3 kids!!!" It still just amazes me the blessing that God has given us and while we all have bad days I'm so so so grateful he trusted us with these 3 nuggets.

I was signing that song "Have I told you lately that I love you" to Grayson and I sang "There is no one else above you" and he stopped me and said "Um excuse me Mommy, there is someone above me it's God and Jesus and they watch over me"  Can't argue with that sweet boy

That's all for now!
I'm pretty sure I might get a Friday Favorites post done for tomorrow.

A day I must acknowledge

So a year ago today I found out I was pregnant.

I remember waking up and feeling like I had not slept at all. Being so tired I wanted to fall asleep in my coffee only my coffee didn't sound good. What the what? That was a big red flag for me.
I took this picture that morning and sent it to Michael saying "I'm exhausted but he's cute!"

Grayson and I went to my mom's to make sauce and so on my way home I stopped at the store to grab chip dip because I could think of nothing else and decided to grab a pregnancy test. They only had the cheap store brand and I almost didn't take them because I like my First Response one ha!
It was raining when we were leaving to head to Gigi's house

I had butterflies in my stomach the whole way home wondering what the outcome would be. I tried not to get my hopes up because it was about 5 days before my missed period and so it was early.

Grayson had stayed at my mom's house for his nap and such so I had the house to myself.

I took the test and saw it turn almost  instantly. I took a picture and sent it to Michael ( I'm not one for a special reveal) He called right away and said your joking right?
Two positive!!!

So I took the second one when he got home and we text them to my mom because we need all the opinions. It was faint but as they say a poitive is a positive. I knew I was pregnant. The next day Michael bought me a digital one and the words were there flashing PREGNANT.
One more confirmation!

I had no idea on this day a year ago after suffering a devestating loss two months prior that I would be sitting here today with my healthy sweet 3 kiddos. I'm blessed, I'm so happy, and I'm also in a chaotic time, but one that I wouldn't trade for the world.
My sweet sweet babies. I love them more than words can say and I'm just filled with so much thanks that God entrusted them to Michael and I!

I will remember this day. It was the day that gave me hope, that helped my heart heal a little bit again, that made me smile because God was giving me another chance.

4 & 5 months

The sweetest little twins are now 4 months  5 months old!!! Time slow it on down for me will you?!?!

My sweet Charlotte,

Oh baby girl you are fiesty. You went from calm sweet baby to my bossy one overnight. You will be heard! You are pretty selective with your smiles but when you give one out watch out it is the best ever. You favor Mommy over anyone but Daddy is a close second. Your nicknames are Char Char and Sissy or Charlips. We are crazy get used to it. You weigh 13 pounds 3 ounces and your 25 inches. Your just a tiny thing. But have the best leg rolls. And neck rolls. I eat you up all the time.
You love oatmeal and still fight the bottle sometimes. We just started carrots and watch out baby girl you gobble them up. Your big brother gets some smiles out of you but mostly you just watch and observe his crazy ways, your little brother your still not sure about you just stare at him like "who is this other baby?" You roll over back to front but mostly just sqwak when we put you on tummy time. Your head control is getting good and we are so close to being able to throw you in  the jumper roo. You love being in the Ergo. This is helpful when we go to busy places and that giant stroller of ours would get in the way, or when I need to cook dinner and your losing your mind I throw you in it and bam we are golden. Your doing good at daycare and that makes your mommy's heart happy. Your fine mortor skills are awesome. You pick things up and stare at them and if you don't have a toy to grab you will grab your sussy or dress and hold it up to your face. You do things in your own time and we just kind of roll with it. I will be honest it is hard not to compare you to your brothers but I promise I'm working and praying about this. I love you sweet girl. You melt me in ways that are so different form you brothers. I can't wait to see who you become. My blue eyed (pretty sure these are staying around they have just gotten darker blue) red headed fiesty child I love you.

My sweet Marshall,

Oh baby boy. You have changed so much. From being fussy all the time to being the happiest baby alive. You still fuss don't get me wrong but the second we walk by you so you can see us and say your name you get the biggest most dimply smile ever. You will be trouble with that smile and I'm sure it will get you out of trouble too. You absolutly adore your big brother. He makes your world go round and you search for him all the time. You love your sissy too because if she is laying next to you on the mat you love to stare and smile at her. Your nicknames are Marshy, Marshy Moo, Bruber, and Marshmellow. You weigh 14 pounds 13 ounces and are 25 inches long. You are a chunk and solid. I love your sweet sweet way that you just coo at me sometimes. And you love to watch your brother sing and dance. Sometimes when your fussy and I'm busy (ya know feeding your sister)  I will ask Grayson to dance for you and you just deep belly laugh the whole time he does. You didn't like cereal as much at first but once we switched to oatmeal you gobbeled it up. You for sure drink more formula than your sister, but you don't always sleep as good. You do good at daycare too and are all smiles when I come get you at the end of the day. I'm just so thankful for you. For your sweet smiles that  make anything bad better and for the way you are with Grayson. You adoring him so much has helped with the transition to twins for him so much easier. I love you sweet boy. My little one (by 2 mins) my blone hair blue eyed dimple boy.
