Marshall and Charlotte have reached that phase.
You know the one where you can do everything the exact same way that you did it the day before however on this day it's just not right?
Yeah that one.
The one that makes you turn into a full on crazed person.
Sissy and Marshy go to daycare 2 days a week. I'm solo on those days to get them ready and so I try to streamline that process as best I can.
I lay clothes out the night before from start to finish including diapers and shoes
I have everything ready to go so that when they are dressed we walk out the door. The last thing I need is them getting involved in a TV show or some toy and having that battle.
I bring them down they both have to be touching me in the morning because they hate waking up early. I get Marshall dressed first most days that is fine but some days it's not. Some days he acts like the floor is hot lava and he arches his back until I'm sweating just trying to hold him down long enough to get his pants on.
Sissy well she gets dressed good but then we fight about the hair. One piggie or two or no piggies and she just wants a bip (clip) in her hair.
Then the struggle to get out the door without 101 insane requests for certain books or our newest thing a blanket for the ride start. Anticipating needs is for the birds because their needs change with the breeze.
I love this stage and age for so many reasons, one being they learn new words every second it seems and the facial expressions are so unfiltered that they bring me to my knees in laughter sometimes
I also hate this stage because they have so many words and can tell you that "no mommy I want my animal book wif da moo moo and ruff ruff in it and my mickey mouse bwanket otay fanks mommy"
And then I have to hunt down said items.
Two is fun really fun
Bring on potty training......
